First Camp is Northern Europe's leading camping company with over 70 destinations in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, and Germany. We are on a strong growth journey and have developed from approximately 100 million SEK in revenue in 2016 to over 2 billion SEK in just a few years – thanks to both expansion and acquisitions.
With over 2,500 employees, we work together towards a common vision: to create the world's leading camping chain and deliver memorable experiences for our guests – every day.
What does the role entail? As a receptionist, you represent First Camp and are our front figure. You handle everything from reception and shop work to check-ins and check-outs, providing information and service to guests, booking management, and selling goods in the shop. Although your main tasks revolve around reception and shop, you should be ready to jump in and support other areas as needed. One of your tasks may be to inspect and clean cabins when guests check out. Most guests clean themselves, but it is possible to purchase cleaning services, and the reception can assist with this in the mornings. First Camp always focuses on the needs of the guests, and together we tackle the challenges that arise.
Who are we looking for?
To be the perfect match for the role, we believe you have experience working in service and customer interaction, preferably in a reception. Relevant education is a bonus.
The role requires you to be structured and organized, as well as having an understanding of our guests' unique needs. As a receptionist, you thrive in a dynamic environment and approach everyone with a welcoming attitude, despite sometimes hectic workloads. You have a good sense of humor, enjoy laughter, and prioritize the team over yourself. You appreciate sharing yourself with others.
We expect you to be fluent in both Swedish and English to ensure smooth communication when interacting with our international guests.
What do we offer? With us, you get to be part of an ambitious company with both heart and drive. The role may vary depending on the area, but what is common is that you become part of a team that helps each other, shares knowledge, and has a close relationship between responsibility and community.
Our shared values guide our daily actions:
We Care – We work together with care for the guest, the employee, and the planet. We create an open and supportive environment where we challenge each other, learn from mistakes, and celebrate successes.
We Have Fun – By being ourselves and having fun together, we create a welcoming atmosphere for everyone we meet. Together, we create wonderful memories for our teams, colleagues, and guests.
We Simplify – Drive, along with the willingness to learn, means we constantly improve and develop how we work. We make it easy for each other – it should be easy to do the right thing for both colleagues and our guests.
We Deliver Results – We focus on creating results for our guests, colleagues, and the entire company in everything we do. The goals are set high, and we succeed best when we use both heart and brain.
We offer a workplace with good opportunities for development and caring colleagues who share wisdom and laughter. Together, we want to continue our success story and grow with more stars who want to help build our future.
ConditionsWe recruit employees for our summer season preferably starting in mid-May to learn our booking systems, etc., before the peak season starts. The scope of the positions varies, but you will be guaranteed between 20-40 hours per week. Working hours vary, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends. The salary follows the hotel and restaurant union's collective agreement.
